There is some variation in the colors on both sides of the color change and lighting will drastically affect the look. These gems are created by the Flame Fusion process and have essentially the same physical properties as natural Sapphire. Our gems are calibrated for easy design for the artist and use in standard settings by the jeweler, goldsmith or silversmith.
