A common repair problem occurs when an air conditioning system’s evaporator coil develops a small pinhole leak. P4KD9S is an excellent solution for this repair due to its low melting point of 500°F and 20,000 psi tensile strength. The kit comes with a 2 oz. bottle of flux, a 10 ft. coil of aluminum solder, and a metal tip flux applicator. The metal tip flux applicator makes it very easy to apply the flux in tight work spaces, and the metal tip makes it possible to add more flux if needed when the base metal is already hot without melting the applicator.
