DIRECT THREAD-ON adapter for the Harvest HD-330 screwdriver antenna. The HD330 uses a very unusual / proprietary thread that makes it not possible to use a standard whip or stinger with the normal 3/8x24 thread. Only the telescopic antennas that come with it are able to thread onto the coil. This adapter solves that very real problem ! It threads directly onto the proprietary thread on the top of the coil. It is secured with a stainless steel set screw at the very bottom (as to not damage the threaded stud on the coil). This allows you to thread in a 3/8x24 antenna / whip / spring or other adapter / accessory. This adapter is available in two (2) different versions. Option 1) Standard 3/8x24 female thread in the top of the adapter. Option 2) 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) hole with a set screw for a steel stinger / whip. Both are available in a two piece bundle at a discount. I have tested and used this antenna with 36 inch to 65 inch stainless steel stinger whips. The antenna tunes from 80 meters to 10 meters with no issues. The 60 inch whip seems to be most efficient.
