Great Function – Removing the snap ring on a transmission clutch may be tricky. The tool is designed to relieve the pressure off the snap ring by compressing the return spring, allowing easy removal and installation of the snap spring. It will be very helpful for your work. (Attention: Does not do rear case pistons)

About Bonbo T-0158 Universal Clutch Drum Spring
For use on these Transmissions: Universal and will fit most common clutch drums up to 6" in size. For Turbo-hydramatic - 180 / 180C For Turbo-hydramatic - 350 / 375 / 400 (3L80) / 425 / 475 For Ford - C4, C5 & C6 For Ford - AOD / AODE For Ford - ATX For Torqueflite "6" (904) / (30RH) For Torqueflite "8" (727) / (36RH) For GM - 700-R4 (Must be out of case. If you are working with it in the case you will need a T-0149.) For GM - 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70 Features: Universal clutch drum spring compressor. Adjustable for most transmission types. 6" long legs especially designed for deep drums. Similar to Atec Trans-Tool T-0158-HD. Applies pressure to the retaining washer in the clutch drum to compress the clutch piston return spring, in order to remove or install the snap ring during clutch repair or transmission overhaul.
