Demount or Tyre Fitting Heads The demount or tyre fitting head is the principal tyre changer component for the efficient removal of tyres. The demount head endures the highest pressure loads of a tyre machine during tyre removal and fitting processes. The central fulcrum point for the tyre lever when lifting the tyre bead up to remove the tyre from the wheel rim. And the primary guiding edge when fitting a tyre back onto a wheel.
