Innovative c_change lining adds four-season warmth, and can be worn separately c_change is inspired by nature's fir cone design, adapting to changing weather conditions Climate Control At the core of the Spirit clothing is the revolutionary c_change climate-sensitive membrane which makes the apparel extremely breathable and highly responsive to changing temperature. This unique patented technology is inspired by the natural opening and closing of fir cones in response to different weather conditions. At higher temperatures or during higher activity levels, the c_change membrane opens up and becomes extremely heat and moisture permeable in an outward direction. At lower temperatures, or lower activity levels, the membrane contracts, retaining body heat. Waterproof/Stain Resistant The fabric is finished with NanoSphere to repel water, dirt and oil. Liquids run easily off the surface before they saturate the fibers, keeping your gear clean and dry in any riding situation. The nanoparticles in the NanoSphere finish form a fine structure on the textileʼs surface. Water drops or dirt particles only come in contact with the peaks of the nanoparticles, minimizing the surface area contact adhesion, and water runs off and dirt is repelled. Any residue can simply be rinsed off. Durability The Spirit apparel is designed to withstand the rigors of riding year after year. The NanoSphere finish will retain its effective repellency even after heavy-duty use and numerous washing or cleaning cycles (please follow care instructions on label). Proprietary outer Dynatec fabric is highly abrasion-resistant for long lasting durability. Smartly placed CE approved armor provides the highest level of impact protection available. True unisex, four-season riding comfort Visibility Taking retro-reflectivity to the next level, Schoeller Reflex technology incorporates a special complex weave with millions of microscopic glass beads that refract and reflect light back towards the original source light. Because the microscopic glass particles absorb much less of the light than is absorbed by ordinary reflective materials, and because the particles focus the reflected light back at the light source, the Reflex patches on the Spirit jacket and pant are visible at up to 100 meters (300 feet) in dark or twilight situations. The result is that you are much more visible in night or low light situations. Versatility For the coldest days, the Spirit jacket includes a softshell inner liner that is removable and styled to wear as a casual jacket on its own. The jacket features multiple pockets: four front pockets with storm flap, snap and hook-loop closure; two 9" x 5.5" chest pockets; two 8" x 8" gusseted lower patch pockets; one 11.75" x 6" rear lower pocket with storm flap, heavy-duty zipper and hook-loop closure; and a 7.5" x 6" interior chest pocket with hook-loop closure. The Spirit jacket zips directly to Richa Spirit pants, or use the second side of the zipper to accommodate any riding pant. Safety The Spirit jacket features certified CE armor at the shoulders, elbows and back. For more visibility, each upper arm has two reflective stripes, Reflex retro-reflective patches on the upper and lower back, and a reflective Richa logo on the front and rear. Comfort The Spirit jacket is supremely comfortable to wear while riding, while providing a snug fit. Cinch to fit sleeves feature upper and lower 2-position snaps, and the padded stand-up collar opens and closes with a padded magnetic tab.
