The Wheeling 205 3/4th cruiser helmet is a classic style for the motorcycle rider. Your best choice for motorcycle, cruiser, ccooter, ATV and more. Our factory has its own test laboratory that tests all our D.O.T helmets to the FMVSS 218 standard. Each D.O.T helmet must pass a series of tests in the rigorous environments: 4-6 hours in the high temperature 50 celsius, and immediately 4-6 hours in the low temperature -20 celsius, again 4-6 hours in room temperature 25 celsius raining condition. The coming tests includes: 1, Range of visibility must be more than 7 degrees up looking, more than 45 degrees down looking, more than 105 degrees horizontal looking. 2, After 7.5M/S, 27.5KGS impacts by metal hammer and cone, the helmet must maintain integrity. 3, The helmet with 1KG load dropped freely from a height of 50CM, the fasten system must keep complete. Of course, the tests are much complicated than above! So D.O.T means safty and trust!
