1) If you plan to install this in a factory radio you most likely will need another connector( not provided). 2) For the power supply, you can connect it to any 12V power source. If you wanted the camera to always be on, you can connect it to a 12V source that is on all the time. We suggest that if you only want to use it when you reverse, you can connect it to reverse taillights.
