About Colby Valve Ultimate Permanent Tire Valve Stem

Made for permanent or emergency use with proper 7/16 tool, it has all the best features of our other Colby Valves, and is 1/2" shorter. This lowers the risk that it will contact hazards on the trail. If it does, the high strength will further protect you against a valve stem break. Colby Valves are made to install from the outside of the wheel, without any tire removal. Our patented Ultimate Valves can be installed at home, from the outside of the wheel, without tire removal, in about 1 minute. You will need to tighten them down firmly while ensuring lip of gasket is fully seated on valve opening with a 7/16" socket or wrench, recommended 10-15 inch lb torque. They are 20X stronger than normal valves and will help you avoid many common valve issues up-front. They aren't indestructible, but they will take one heck of a beating.
