Ball point needles are best used on knit fabrics, and regular point needles work best on woven fabrics. Titanium makes them all extra strong and durable. Needles are color coded to reflect the needle type and sizes, which include: 2 orange size 80/12 to use on lightweight fabrics, 2 blue size 90/14 to use on medium weight fabrics, and 1 purple size 100/16 to use on heavyweight fabrics in both universal and ball point machine needles. The 10 machine needles come in a convenient plastic transparent case with individual storage slots and sizes marked on the clear cover. The SINGER titanium sewing machine needles can be used on SINGER, Brother, Kenmore, Janome, Juki, Bernina and other quality household domestic sewing machines.
