About Da Vinci Watercolor Silverpoint Watercolor
A historical as well as state of the art painting tool - the metal tip allows the artist to draw "silvertip" as Leonardo da Vinci did on any artist paper surface. The Kebony wood handle is from sustainable forests in the European Baltic States. The brush head is the Petit Gris Pur Quill Size 3 for watercolorists and allows the artist to fill in the silvertip sketch with watercolor. This is indeed the same brush head on da Vinci Series 418. Beautifully packaged in a gift box with information explaining Leonardo's silverpoint technique. A very unique item developed at the da Vinci factory in Germany. manufacturing, family owned.
