This handmade thin mulberry paper is praised as the "dragon cloud" paper, unbleached, in an off-white color, with rough yet soft texture. PH neutral and archival. It's semi-absorbent, not as bleeding or smearing as the absordent Xuan rice paper. Ideal for Chinese brush painting, calligraphy. At this 34g weight, this paper is too thin for regular watercolor painting, drawing, inkjet printing, or any other usages than Chinese brush painting and calligraphy. Backing or mounting is required to remove wrinkles after the painting or writing is done.
