This necklace is Handmade using Fair Trade hand painted Ceramic beads. The women hand roll clay balls to make beads of different shapes and sizes. The freshly made beads are then left to dry in the sun for a day or two then fired in a kiln at 1200 degree Celsius. After this firing the women hand paint the desired design into each and every bead using ceramic glazes. The painted beads are then fired at 800 degree Celsius to bring out the amazing colours and patterns. These amazing products are made in a responsible and sustainable manner promoting economic empowerment of women.
