About Emerald Bouquet
Lisa Mee’s collage paintings integrate papers, fabrics and metals by careful sorting, cutting and assembling. With these materials, they are recycled into works of art. Her purpose is to combine mundane scraps on canvas to create a harmonic coherence of all the parts. Inspired by florals, landscapes, skies , plant-based life and various forms found in the natural environment , she creates a cohesion to capture the elusive qualities of nature by using recycled materials in an aesthetic manner. This challenge of creating vital heartfelt artwork is the motivating source of her creative spirit.
