About Floral Spring Embroidery Patterns
Floral Spring has over 50 floral and spring theme embroidery patterns. The patterns include: a floral spring cottage, forget-me-nots, bluebells, daffodils, tulips, crocus, primroses, pansies, hyacinth, grape hyacinth, anemone, viola, violets, lilac, lavender, daisies, lily of the valley, apple blossom, birds - goldfinch, blue tit bird and robins, a diva moth, bee, butterflies - holly blue, brimstone and orange tip butterfly. And a Stitch Sampler design and lettering patterns for the words Forget-Me-Not and Spring. De-ann Black is the designer. She designed and stitched the patterns from her original artwork. The flowers and creatures are an artistic representation of real flowers and creatures. Most of the patterns use stranded cotton embroidery thread (floss), but crewelwork patterns (wool embroidery) are included - a crewelwork rabbit, crewel daffodil, crewel tulip and crewel clematis flower. The crewel wool patterns can also be stitched with cotton embroidery thread if preferred. The book contains full-size templates on single-sided pages so you can trace the patterns on to fabric ready for embroidering. The pattern instructions are at the back of the book. The patterns are ideal for hand stitching and hoop embroidery. Many of the patterns fit into standard size 5 inch, 6 inch and 10 inch hoops. The stitches and thread colours are suggestions. You can of course use your own favourite stitches and threads to sew the patterns if you prefer. Book website: The book’s website shows detailed colour photographs of some of the embroidery designs.
