Set 1,300 years after the events of How To Train Your Dragon, dragons are now just a legend to the modern world. When a geological anomaly opens up an immense, miles-deep fissure in the Earth’s surface, scientists from all over the world gather at a new research facility to study the mysterious phenomenon. Soon a group of misfit kids, brought to the site by their parents, uncover the truth about dragons and where they’ve been hiding -- a secret they must keep to themselves to protect what they’ve discovered. D'Angelo is the son of the head of security, D'Angelo is good natured and very disciplined. His biggest fear is disappointing his parents. With a keen interest in veterinary medicine, he quickly becomes the group's de-facto "dragon doctor". D'Angelo's dragon is a one-eyed Tracker class dragon. As big as she is, Plowhorn is an outcast from her family as she's acutally the smallest of the pack. D'Angelo's compassion and trust helps break down her walls and the duo soon discovers they love to smash stuff together.
