Mesee Helicoil Thread Repair Insert Kit Helical Coil Inserts M8 x 1.25mm Screw Tap Twist Drill Bit Screw Threads Installation Tool Lug Breaking-off Pin Rethread Repairing Kit It is a practical and handy tool set for restoring damaged or worn-out threads, perfect for automotive mechanics, handyman jobs, furniture assembly, and DIY home improvement projects. Ideal thread repair kit for repairing or replacing damaged or stripped Internal screw threads, and also can be used to protect aging screw threads from wear and tear, suitable for daily repair, engine repair, and other automotive applications. ▶Operation Guide: 1) DRILLING - Drill and clear the damaged thread with the twist drill. 2) CHECK - Check that the thread and pitch of the tap and of the bolt match. 3) TAPPING - Use the special thread tap for cutting the holding thread into the cleared hole. It is recommended to use a suitable cutting oil or lubricant. 4) INSTALL THE INSERT - Place the wire thread insert onto the installation tool so that the tang of the insert is positioned at the bottom of the tool. Position the adjustable ring of the installation tool so that the insert tang is centered in the tang slot. Wind the insert in with light downward pressure until a half turn below the surface.
