Description What sets the Mel Meter 8704R Pro-Navigator apart from the basic Mel Meter 8704R is that the Pro-Navigator has Glow in the Dark buttons which really makes things easier when used in dark conditions. It also has an expansion slot. This is a cost saving feature for the user who thinks her or she later will want more features built in to their Mel Meter. It allows the Mel Meter to be upgraded with new features at any point in time. New features are released quite frequently. So instead of buying a new Mel Meter this one can be upgraded by contacting the seller. Summary of functions: Digital EMF, Digital Ambient Temperature, Red Back light Display, Red IR Flashlight, Glow In The Dark Buttons, Expansion Slot Included. Note: The Mel Meter does not come with the 9V battery that it needs to operate.
