Description The Oakton 03316-80 anaroid barometer has a barometric pressure range readout of 945 to 1045 mbar, and 27.9 to 30.9 inches Hg. Oakton barometers are used to measure atmospheric pressure and temperature in indoor applications. This barometer has a built-in, bi-metallic element for temperature compensation for the aneroid capsule for pressure reading accuracy. It has a selectable, digital LCD-display of C or F readings for ease of use, and wall-mounting for ease of reference. It is used to measure at an altitude between sea level and 2,000 feet. Batteries or external power are not required. The 03316-80 anaroid barometer has a resolution of 0.5 mbar, 0.1 inches Hg, accuracy + or - 1.0 mbar between 970 and 1030 mbar; + or - 2.0 mbar beyond this range. Temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees C (-4 to 140 degrees F), resolution 0.1 degree C, accuracy + or - 1.0 degree C (+ or - 1.8 degrees F) with thermistor sensor (display digital LCD). Its body dimensions are 5.25 (D) x 1.25 (W) inches, and flange dimensions are 6.375 (outer diameter) x 0.15 (D) inches. It is used with one 1.5-V AA battery (included) which last for approximately one year, and it comes in an ABS plastic case. An Oakton aneroid barometer monitors impending weather changes and temperature in indoor applications.
