About Dark Chocolate SCHO-KA-KOLA With Natural Caffeine
In Germany, the chocolate snack with natural caffeine extracted from cocoa, cola nuts and coffee has been around for a long time. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was known as "the chocolate for athletes". Today, the registered trademark and the recipe belong to Genuport Trade GmbH, which is based in Norderstedt and also markets the product. The original energy chocolate that comes in a tin stands for high quality and enjoys a unique status in Germany. The recipe has not been changed since the brand was established. The famous SCHO-KA-KOLA brand was created by the Hildebrand, Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik GmbH company in Berlin in 1935. The year after that, the traditional family-run enterprise saw the Olympic Games as the perfect occasion for launching SCHO-KA-KOLA as a performance enhancing chocolate ideal for athletes, and registered the brand name as a trademark. It was considered a very modern product at the time; this period therefore decided the course the Hildebrand company was to take.
