About the Author A science fiction fan since she was a wee babe, L.S. King cut her teeth on Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. She cosplayed before it had a name, creating her own alien outfitsbackwhen folks didn't even know what a Trekkie was, and writing fanficoneverything from Batman to Dark Shadows to Star Trek to X-Men and Avengers.As a child, L.S. began studying the martial arts, eventually earning therank of master. Other items in her eclectic background are working in an electronics store, as a journalist, a school bus driver, in a radiostation, and as a gymnastics coach. She also homeschooled all four of her children.When on the planet, this mother and grandmother enjoysgardening, soap making, reading,and online gaming. She also likes AllThings Myst, Middle-earth, Looney Tunes, the color purple, and is a Zorroaficionado, which might explain her love of swords and cloaks.
