Product Description The Kidde Premium Smoke Detector, Battery-Operated Smoke Alarm with Hush Feature, 9V Battery Included (model i9060) is a single-station smoke alarm that provides an early warning signal to you and your family in the event of a smoke or fire incident. It uses an ionization sensor, which helps protect against fast flaming and other types of fires. The smoke detector operates on a 9V battery power source that provides reliable detection for your home even during a power outage. Install a Kidde smoke alarm on every floor of your home, including outside and inside of all sleeping areas. Installation of this smoke detector is simple – attach the twist-off mounting plate to the ceiling, insert the battery in the fire alarm, then twist until it locks into place. No wiring is required. The battery-operated smoke detector includes a Tamper Resist Locking Pin that helps deter battery and alarm theft and a Hush control feature that will temporarily silence nuisance alarms. This feature is useful in the kitchen area or other areas prone to nuisance alarms. When smoke is detected, an 85-decibel alarm will sound with three beeps, a pause, then three beeps in a repeating pattern. A low battery warning chirp will sound to alert you when to change the battery in your smoke detector. UL certified with a 10-year limited warranty.
