Whether it's methane, natural gas, propane, liquefied petroleum gas, or gasoline, this handy tool can accurately pinpoint them all.With its high-sensitivity mode, you'll be instantly notified of methane presence at 1%LEL through audible and visual alarms.The PT299 goes beyond mere alerts by providing 19 informative bar graphs and numerical measurements in %LEL. This feature allows for a more intuitive understanding of the gas concentration in your surroundings. The PT299 features a telescoping sensor head bar, enabling you to detect gas leaks in tight or high spaces in homes and RVs. What You Get ·PT299 Combustible Gas Leak Detector ·2x AAA Batteries ·Storage Bag ·User Manual Important Operation Instructions √ Turn on the detector in an area where combustible gas is known not to be present. √ Each time the device is turned on, it initiates a warm-up process that takes about 30 seconds, during which time the device is unavailable. √ It is recommended to use lighter or gas stove gas to test the effectiveness of the detector (make sure the gas is released but there is no flame). √ Switch the sensitivity by pressing the [S] button. * The detector is switched on in high sensitivity mode by default.
