For repairing a broken or misaligned PVC pipe on non-constant pressure lines
Flexible pipe goes around irregular angles or obstructions with minimal digging
Stainless steel teeth grip and a special O-ring creates a rotatable, watertight seal
Immediately pressurize the system with no wait time for joints to cure; optional removal tool facilitates easy maintenance and reuse of fittings
Compatible with Schedule 40 and Class 200 PVC pipe from all major pipe brands; for non-constant pressure, non-mainline, direct-burial use only
The PVC-Lock flexible repair coupling is an ideal way to repair sections of non-mainline PVC pipe which are broken or have irregular angles or obstructions. The fitting easily pushes onto standard PVC pipe. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe tightly, and a special O-ring creates a watertight seal. You can immediately pressurize the system with no wait time for joints to cure. The PVC-Lock removal tool enables easy maintenance and reuse of the fittings. The typical use case for a flexible repair coupling is to cut out the damaged section of pipe, bevel the pipe ends with the PVC-Lock tool, and insert the PVC-Lock flexible repair coupling on each end of the pipe. PVC-Lock flexible repair couplings are designed for non-constant pressure (valve-out), direct-burial applications only. Use PVC-Lock slide repairs and Schedule 40 pipe for constant pressure (valve-in) applications. Maximum recommended operating pressure is 100 PSI. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
