  • Eliminates oft problematic vct solenoid and gear - eliminate a non functional system to restore drive-ability at a fraction of the cost of buying new OEM parts (over $1000 easily!!!).

  • Tunability. Bolt on a readily available aftermarket adjustable cam gear for concise, consistent user set cam retard / advance timing.

  • Aftermarket ECU compatibility. Many stand alone ECU’s cannot control and or will not work with the OE VCT hardware.

  • Weight. Even a factory steel pulley weighs less than half the weight of an OEM VCT gears (Aftermarket aluminum pulleys weigh even less). This may not seem like much, but those aspiring to high RPM superiority will appreciate this lower rotating mass.


About Variable Cam Timing Gear Killer Adjustable Bolt

Deleting the factory variable cam timing yields a greater amount of camshaft options and the ability to use an adjustable cam gear for fixed, consistent tuning. Includes billet aluminum VCT delete, genuine ARP 12 pt stainless steel bolt and billet aluminum washer plate with engraved Massive M logo. Loc-tite provided in kit for superior hold. This kit allows/requires the usage of a NON VCT gear once installed. You'll need either an aftermarket adjustable cam gear if you are after peak HP, or a standard fixed OEM steel gear (like the exhaust side from the manufacturer). Either of the options can be obtained from Massive. Aftermarket adjustable cam gear shown in pictures is NOT included. Manufactured IN HOUSE at Massive Speed's headquarters right here in the USA!!!
