Brand New 1" Double D Universal Cut-to-Length Intermediate Steering Shaft that is 36 Inches Long (SWS Part # 150-3184). These are new parts produced by Southwest Speed. Southwest Speed Universal Steering Shafts are manufactured using the highest quality materials available, and are built to handle the abuse from high horsepower applications. This is an inexpensive way of replacing your steering shaft or adding a steering shaft. This shaft can be cut down to the correct length you need. We offer a variation of different length steering shafts to fit nearly every application, refer to the chart to decide which universal joint will fit your application. In order to determine which u-joint you will need, you can follow these steps: Determine which spline is on your steering box or rack. You can measure and count, or use the chart (shown in the images) Then determine which style steering shaft you will need and measure the distance from the column to the steering gear box to determine which length shaft you will need. Then, verify which style steering shaft you have, or will need for your specific application (3/4" Smooth, 3/4" Double D, or 1" Double D).
