This fit over mirror glass is adhered over the existing broken glass with adhesive pads that are included in the box. This mirror does not replace the original mirror glass. The heat function of your mirror will work as it transfers from the broken mirror to the new mirror glass. The self-dimming feature will no longer be functional.
