About Ethicon MONOCRYL
Product Description MONOCRYL Suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery. In vivo studies demonstrate that MONOCRYL suture retains approximately 60 to 70% of its original strength 7 days post-implantation, and approximately 30 to 40% of its original tensile strength at 14 days post-implantation.
