Adhesive Removing Pliers Band Removing pliers Bracket removing PliersWe designed it as three in one product. It is used to remove the bracket from the tooth surface, metal ring (molar band) from the back teeth and to remove the adhesive (cement, etc) left over the tooth surface. Its unique design allows you to extrude or intrude the scratching tip by the adjustment of the screw with the L key provided along with. The same L key is used to adjust the other screw to control the opening of the tip. This is a safety feature and secures the tooth and white cushion from the accidental pressure. Please see the picture. Its working end with the white Teflon button is rested over the chewing surface of the tooth and the other end is used against the outer surface of the tooth to scratch off the bracket or cement from the tooth surface. The length of the scratching tip can be adjusted according to the tooth position or width. Please see some video to learn how to remove the bracket, cement, and molar band with it. The important point is, the Teflon button (the cushion)should rest on the chewing surface of the tooth and should bear the pressure only vertically. If you put the pressure on the Teflon button at an angle, you will break it. The scratching tip should engage the cement or the metal band in a way that it pushes it towards the Teflon tip. Please be aware that with an uncontrolled pressure, the removed cement may get stuck against the Teflon tip and may break it.
