HIGH FORCE - PA-17 12 and 24 Volt Electric Actuator offers power and durability for applications that require dynamic linear motion and versatility the stainless-steel shaft accompanied by metal gears allows it to push up to 2000 lbs and hold up to 4000 lbs
FUNCTIONAL - able to withstand dust, water, and harsh environments. The heavy duty actuator is the only unit in our line of products with adjustable limit switches, which allows customers fully control over where to start and stop the actuator
MANY INDUSTRIES - can be used in a variety of different applications, from lifting a sofa, to marine hatch on a boat to being utilized in industrial machinery equipment found in the construction industry
HARD TESTING - all our products are undergo thorough testing before they are released for sale they are designed to work in even very harsh conditions and to tolerate washing, without damaging the finer electronics inside
QUALITY - Progressive Automations actuators are quiet, clean, non-toxic and energy efficient
5 Tips to extend PA-17 lifespan: -Install the actuator in a configuration so that the force being experienced by the shaft is at the correct angle and position that line up with the push and pull direction of the actuator’s travel path. -Ensure the force that is being experienced by the actuator's shaft is within the force rating of the unit you selected. -Allow the PA-17 actuator to have sufficient off time to cool down so that the motor does not overheat by staying within the 25% duty cycle rating (5 minutes on, 15 minutes off). -Install the actuator in a configuration that allows for the actuator to fully extend and fully retract completely so that it can reach the internal limit switches at the end of travel. -Avoid water damage by using the PA-17 actuators within their ingress protection ratings of IP65. Actuators with IP65 can be stored outdoors in the rain, however, they are not rated to operate in motion while it is raining. To operate in motion while exposed to water, a rating of IP65M or higher is required.
