Others out there only have plastic on the outside. No manufacturer has paid any attention to the lugs, but nowadays many of us use expensive Titanium or Aluminum anodized lug nuts. This is the product you need in your tool box. Plastic inserts are disposable w/ refills available in Delrin Plastic. Non-marring Impact Deep Lug Nut Socket Set features lug nut sockets with a non-marring core and sleeve that prevents damage to wheels, custom rims, and lug nuts. Outer sleeve of deep sockets can be removed for thin wall applications. Lug nut sockets are designed with a hollow core for use on longer wheel studs. Impact grade lug nut sockets are constructed of chrome-moly steel for strength and durability.
