With its integral 1/2" guide bearing, this beading bit is a snap to use. There is no need to set the depth of cut with a fence, and you can even use the bit without a router table at all. The bit also features a taller section at the top of the carbide, which allows you more freedom to adjust the size of the upper step. Of course, you can also adjust it flush if no step is desired. A classic profile for cabinet work and architectural features, it makes an ideal beaded molding for wrapping doors and drawer fronts. These bits feature 1/2" shanks, the ideal choice when more stability and the best cut quality are desired.
