The swimming pool Main Drain Adapter (color - WHITE) aids in attaching the main drain cover; it sets in the main drain pot (3 thumb screws provided) of your swimming pool; the main drain cover is set on top and can now be screwed into the MDA. This is needed when the screws break off or rot out in the screw holes, preventing you from putting your VGB approved safety cover back on. Intended for residential pools.
