About SANIFLO Sanibest Pro - Full Bath Install - Upflush

Product Description Saniflo is the world leader in the plumbing industry as a result of the above-floor technology used in Saniflo pumps. Saniflo has a complete range of pumps for both residential and commercial needs. The innovative method of using above-floor technology allows for the installation of any sanitary application you can imagine, anywhere! Whether it's a small project requiring drain and condensate pumps to more complex engineered jobs such as whole buildings with multiple fixture units, Saniflo has a solution; All you need is water supply and electricity. From the Manufacturer The SANIBEST is a system used to install a complete bathroom up to 18-Feet below the sewer line, or even up to 150-Feet away from a soil stack. The SANIBEST can handle the effluent from a toilet, sink, bathtub, shower and washing machine (indirect connection). The SANIBEST incorporates an actual grinder system. It's ideal for situations where you do not control the use; such as a guest bathroom, rental unit or office building. It is also designed to handle accidental flushing of sanitary articles; such as sanitary napkins, q-tips, dental floss, etc. In commercial installations, plumbing codes require an elongated bowl to be installed with this system. Once the water level in the container goes down, the micro switch deactivates. A normal operating cycle for the SANIBEST takes about 7-9 seconds. In addition, this system will also discharge gray water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as: a sink, bath/shower, a urinal and even a washing machine (indirect connection). When adding a bathtub/shower, a base will have to be constructed. This base should be made out of a 2-Inch X 6-Inch(minimum) or 2-Inch X 8-Inch(recommended) on edge, to allow for the installation of a P-trap and the required 1/3-Inch per foot gravity flow towards the pump unit. The waste water from other sanitary fixtures is discharged into the SANIBEST via two 1-1/2 inch inlets on either side of the housing. The discharge elbow on top of the system can be rotated 360 Degree depending on the discharge installation. A non-return valve (included in assembly) prevents back flow into the unit. This unit has been designed with a vent connection on the lid. All plumbing codes require connection to a vent system. Please note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent. The uses of mechanical vents, air admittance valves, or similar devices are not permitted as these are considered one-way air vent systems.
