The pump is activated when both sensors are submerged in water. The pump stays on while the water is between both the High and Low Sensors. When the Low Sensor is out of the water the controller switches to the Additional Runtime Mode. The pump is turned off when the additional runtime has expired—Additional runtime can be programmed using the Smart Button. Please note: The minimum positioning of the lower sensor of the HC7000v2 depends on the utility pump's pumping capabilities. Some utility pumps may not function effectively below a water level of ½ inch.
