It is exclusively compatible with Watts Hot Water Recirculation Systems, models 500800, 500805 and HWRS-WH. It is not designed to be used with a dedicated return line to the water heater.

INTEGRAL COMPONENT: The sensor valve is an integral part of the hot water recirculating system; it opens when the water on the hot water side cools, pushes the cool water back to the water heater, and closes when the hot water line hits 98º F, reducing wait time for hot water.

SIMPLE DESIGN: Equipped with two 12" supply lines, two reducing fittings from 1/2" FTP to 3/8" MPT, and two mounting screws, this Sensor Valve Kit has a simple design that makes it easy to install and replace, requiring no additional components.
