This plumbing shut-off valve is fitted with food-grade EPDM O-rings and is NSF-61 and 51 certified. These safe and durable shut-off valves are approved for behind-the-wall applications as a permanent leak-free connection and are certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating system applications. John Guest plastic push angle shut-off valves are rated at 150 PSI at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 PSI at 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
