The push-to-connect mechanism of this stop valve allows you to control and shut off water flow to fixtures or appliances for maintenance and repair. This brass plumbing fitting is ideal for working in tight spaces and can be installed in wet lines. These push-to-connect straight stop valves are easy to install, compatible with PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, SDR-9 HDPE, and copper pipe, and do not require any special tools, glue, crimping, or soldering for installation. These push-fit compression valves have a sleek chrome attractive appearance and are suitable for commercial repairs or home improvement projects. All SharkBite valves, clips, joints, and adapters are manufactured and tested in the USA. From the Manufacturer Shark Bite push-fit fittings are the fastest, easiest way to join copper, CPVC and PEX in any combination-wet or dry-with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal.
