Culligan filters reduce up to 50+ impurities including lead, asbestos, mercury, chlorine taste & odor, 8 pharmaceuticals, and cysts*. Culligan filters reduce chlorine taste & odor for better tasting water and ice. They provide fresh water by also reducing select pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, atenolol, and trimethoprim. Additionally, most Culligan filters reduce the presence of illness-causing, waterborne parasites, like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, helping you stay healthy when you hydrate. Culligan filters have an activated carbon cartridge that absorbs the carbon-based VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as they pass through the filter, resulting in better water.
