Voltage: 3.03VAC to 3.3VAC - Suitable for 3.03/3.3 VAC, 60Hz. Do not apply 120 VAC to valve. Measure the AC voltage applied to the valve for troubleshooting. If you don't see the igniter glows, check the igniter first.
Current 3.3 A - 3.6 A - Use only with igniter rated for 3.3 to 3.6 AMPS. Do not alter electrical connections. This gas valve requires the igniter is on first. Make sure the igniter turn on before the gas goes through this gas valve. For safety purpose, if the igniter doesn't turn on, this gas valve won't let the gas go through. Check the current and voltage applied to this valve for troubleshooting.
Caution - It is important to disconnect your appliance from the power and gas supply before servicing. This valve will not open if the igniter is not drawing the proper amperage (current). This may occur even if the igniter is glowing. Gas line connections must be properly leak checked after this repair.
