Once you set it up, the LUCY flex reflects an image of anything onto paper or canvas. Draw or paint over the image to quickly start your realistic masterpiece. The LUCY is only intended to help with the initial sketch, any detail or finishing is done without the tool. The technology behind the LUCY has been used by artists for hundreds of years, and the LUCY is the latest and greatest camera lucida evolution. Includes: LUCY Camera Lucida with 2 Optical Filters, micro fiber cleaning cloth, and instructions -PLUS- Photo Projector w/ lens (aka Photo Enlarger) for enlarging and copying photos. All packed in a handy carrying bag. Made in the USA. The LUCY retains all the magic of this classic device, while offering all the solutions with a larger (up to 19x27 inches from life), more stable and brighter image. You can even adjust the brightness of the image as needed. This listing also includes the Photo Projector, which will allow you to enlarge a 4x6 inch photo up to 3X larger than life (12x18 inches is maximum size of the image from a photo). You can use the LUCY if you wear glasses. But it may not work well if you wear bifocals, trifocals, or progressive lenses. Basically, a LUCY enables you to see two things at the same time laid over each other. So, you see your paper and the subject at the same time. If you have difficulty seeing near and far objects without trifocals, then when the two images are transposed over each other you will only be able to see either one or the other clearly.
