QUICK AND EASY SYSTEM FOR SPRAYING DOORS: The Hinge Stand Kit is a reusable painting tool used to hold interior doors upright and rigid in preparation for spray painting. In response to requests made by Professional Painters and Contractors, we created the Hinge Stand Contractor Pack- a value pack containing three times more units than the original kit. The size of our Contractor Pack is based on a typical home size, which on average, has 18 interior doors. Hinge Stand brackets will link doors together using the middle hinge and pin. This Keeps doors upright and rigid, eliminating the need for additional tools, ladders and screws. The Hinge Stand Kit also includes floor spacers, that holds doors off the floor, guaranteeing a higher quality finish and damage protection. FAQs: Do they work with any type of door? HingeStands universal design has been thoroughly tested and does fit most 3.5" interior door hinges. Will it support a solid core door? Yes. However, you will need to use two HingeStands per pair of doors. We recommend placing one high (on the top hinge) and another down low (on the middle or bottom hinge) for added strength and stability. Does the HingeStand block the spray? No. Our research and development team made the improvements and modifications necessary to avoid this issue. Do they work with different height doors? Yes! The solution to connecting HingeStands to doors of varying heights is to attach the spacers to the top corners of the doors and set them up, upside down.
