Made of super-tough Eastman Tritan polycarbonate, the Tritan offers the same roomy interior as most Nalgenes so it's super tough and nice looking too, and a cap that never gets lost. In addition, the bottle's BPA-free construction is impact-, odor-, and stain-resistant, helping it withstand a wide range of temperatures (from -40 to 212 degrees F) and last for years. Finally, the bottle includes printed graduations on the side, making it easy to measure water quantities. Recommended for extreme adventures, the Tritan bottle is available in a variety of vivacious colors. Nalgene was founded in 1949 as a manufacturer of the first plastic pipette holder. The company soon expanded its product line to include state-of-the-art polyethylene labware under the Nalgene brand.
