Product Description C-MORE Systems’ SL Serendipity Red Dot Sight with 8 MOA packs a rugged build into a lightweight body while maintaining quick and accurate target acquisition. Decide you need a different dot size? The SL features Interchangeable Dot Modules (sold separately) that are quick and easy to change out whether you need a lower or higher MOA. Apply the sight directly to the frame by drilling and tapping 3 holes, made for models with a 0.83 inch frame width such as standard STI models and Infinity (SV) frames. The Standard Intensity Switch is a dial rheostat switch with a continuous adjustment through the wide intensity range. Adjust the dot to the lighting conditions of the operating area, the dot should appear bright but not glaring. By using a single red dot as an aiming point, target acquisition is as simple as point and shoot. The unique Heads-Up-Display (HUD) design provides an unlimited field of view, while eliminating obstruction and tunnel vision common to tube style scopes. Designed around the 1911 frame and competition race guns, the Serendipity started the heads-up revolution in shooting sports. In 1993 it was the first sight ever used in competition to incorporate a heads-up display or "tubeless" design. Since then C-MORE Systems sights have proven their performance and reliability with multiple National and World Championships and continue to be the DOMINATE sight in competition today. The Serendipity is available in ten different models. The difference in each model is the intensity switch and the width of the mounting pads, which are machined to fit the width of the selected frame.
