Recycled Plastic Wren Bird Houses Bring Joy to Any Landscape. Be kind to the environment while attracting songbirds to your landscape with our beautiful handmade wren houses. They are pretty enough to hang as decorative birdhouses, but are even better with a nest full of wrens or chickadees living inside! About the House: Made from eco-friendly poly lumber which is a recycled high-density polyethylene material. The poly lumber is sourced from a combination of recycled plastic bottles, milk jugs, and other similar materials. The benefit of a poly lumber birdhouse is the material is essentially maintenance-free. Our houses will maintain their beauty and structure for years to come without the need for water-proofing or staining. Easy to clean with a hose and towel. After the birds move out, simply remove the bottom, hose it down and wipe it clean. The bottom of the house is quickly removed with a Phillips head screwdriver. We have designed the birdhouse to keep your wrens safe and secure. A sloped roof keeps the inside of the house dry. A small triangle-shaped ventilation hole is located in the back of the house to keep the air flowing freely. A small hole is drilled in the bottom of the house for drainage. Our wren house has no perch since a perch makes it too easy for predators to access the nest.
