About Dynatex 47182 DynaGrey Low Volatile RTV Silicone
Dynatex DynaGrey silicone gasket maker is a non-slump, one-part silicone rubber that cures to a tough, rubbery solid upon exposure to moisture in the air. This sealant is primarily used as a general purpose sealing and bonding agent as a space-filling rubber adhesive or formed in place gasket. It adheres to clean metal, glass, most types of non-oily woods, silicone resin, vulcanized rubber, ceramic, natural and synthetic fiber and many painted and plastic surfaces. Fully cured, Dynatex DynaGrey silicone gasket maker stays rubbery at emperatures of -85 degree F (-65 degree C) to 500 degree F (260 degree C). Primer-less. Non-corrosive. Fast cure, pleasant odor. All-temperature application. Excellent weather ability in sunlight, rain, snow, ozone or temperature extremes. Long-life reliability. Applicable for valve covers, transmission pans, low odor, replaces most gaskets, timing gear covers, improved oil resistance, makes any gasket instantly, sensor safe, oil pump flanges, good adhesion, differential covers, non-flammable and non-toxic. Appearance: paste non-slump. Color: grey. Tack-free time, 50 percent RH: 15 minutes (C 679). Curing time, 50 percent RH at 77 degree F (22 degree C) D: 7-14 minutes. Flow, sag or slump working time: 5-10 minutes (C 639). Durometer hardness, shore A: 30 points. Ultimate tensile strength: 230 psi (D 412). Ultimate elongation: 350 percent (D 412).
