The Food Pusher is already installed in the housing, please pull it out before using it. Easy to Clean Suggest putting the parts in warm, sudsy water for minutes before washing, clean with a soft brush or cloth. The blades are "top rack" dishwasher safe and the rest is NOT, but if you want this accessory to last longer, it is recommended to wash it by hand! Dry them thoroughly after washing and keep them in their best condition. The cleaning brush that comes with it can help you a lot.
