About New Metro Design 5L-MGY Beater Blade
This is the 5L-MGY Grey Metal BeaterBlade that is compatible with the KitchenAid 5-Quart Bowl-Lift mixer. It is not to be used on any other manufacturer’s brand of mixers or other KitchenAid mixer sizes. It is exclusively designed to fit the 5-Quart Bowl-Lift –but how to know if this will work on YOUR bowl, you ask? Simply measure the diameter of your stand mixer bowl---if it measures between 8 and 8.5-inches, the 5LMGY is the correct size for your mixer. This mixer features a narrower lift bowl and the walls are more vertical. This mixer is popular at restaurants and bakeries due to it’s power and the bowl shape. This is NOT for the Professional 5-Plus mixers (commonly sold at Costco & Sam’s club), 5 Quart glass bowls or Tilt-Head mixers we have other BeaterBlade models for those mixers. If you’re sure you have the 5QT Bowl-Lift, then THIS Is the right model for you! Also .getting your BeaterBlade on the shaft the first time can be fiddly business.
