Single Head Cardiology Stethoscope: Real-World Review by myself an ER Physician with 25 years experience: This is an excellent stethoscope choice if you are in the market for a Single Head Cardiology model. Cosmetically, the tubing is not as flawless as the name brands, but the function is excellent. Let the stethoscope hang for a couple of days and the memory that has developed in the tubing from being in the box will be gone. Ear Tips are now a soft silicone (Cherry Soft brand) and no longer screw on but push over the binaural and will not unscrew or fall off. The single diaphragm is tune-able and responds with a simple pressure change to capture low and high-frequency sounds. Our mission is to provide less expensive medical diagnostics that have excellent function and to stand behind the products we sell. We also include a spare set of Cherry Soft ear tips and spare diaphragm with each stethoscope. IMHO You will be very happy with the function of this stethoscope, especially at this price. Do your own double-blind study by closing your eyes and have someone hand you your favorite model and compare while you listen to heart and lung sounds and see if you can tell which is which.
