25 instant-read fentanyl strips for forensic use only. They are used to detect the presence of fentanyl in urine at a 200 nanogram cut-off level. Results are easy to read and show within five minutes or less. The fentanyl urine test strips are used to detect fentanyl in human urine. Fentanyl is known to be a synthetic opioid connected with the family of phenylpiperidines. It’s used in medical facilities to manage severe pain as well as in end-of-life palliative care. The testing process is easy, fast, and accurate. The test administrator starts by removing the fentanyl drug test from its sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. For the best result, the assay should be performed within an hour. It is recommended to hold the strip by the end, where the product name is printed. To avoid contamination, do not touch the strip membrane. Holding the strip vertically, the test administrator then will begin to dip the test strip in the urine specimen for at least 10-15 seconds. Do not immerse past the maximum line (MAX) on the test strip, or about 1/5th of the way up the strip. After the fentanyl drug test has finished, remove the strip from the specimen and place it on a non-absorbent flat surface. Start the timer and wait for the colored band(s) to appear. The result should be read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes. The fentanyl urine test kit contains a cutoff level of 200ng/ml. It should be used exclusively to detect the use of fentanyl in the urine. If stored in a refrigerator, make sure the strips are brought to room temperature before use.
